For Katie Proulx, the answer has changed many times. In her twenties, home was New York City. It was Shakespeare, auditions, dance studios, late-night conversations, and the exhilarating work of becoming someone she hadn't yet met. It was where she discovered that courage isn't the absence of shyness; sometimes it's simply walking onto the stage anyway.

Then, at forty, she woke up in the middle of the night with a startling realization: she hadn't built the kind of future that would allow her to feel safe. That moment became the beginning of a different adventure—one that led her back to New Hampshire, toward stability, and ultimately into a career helping others find places where their own stories can unfold.

Today, Katie brings together seemingly opposite worlds: creativity and practicality, imagination and planning, storytelling and real estate.
